There's always something happening at the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma. Here are a few of our current happenings:
October 21, 2008 Monthly members meeting
The Railroad Museum of Oklahoma's popular "Breakfast in the Wanda Lee" ended another successful season in May. Head chef Bob Krieg along with his wonderful wife Rena and grandson Carson Combest deserve everyone's thanks for the fantastic food and fun atmosphere they provided each month. If you want a return engagement this fall, please let Bob know you will support the program through your presence and donations. Thanks again, Bob and crew. We appreciate you!
Operation Lifesaver is a very successful program teaching highway-rail grade crossing safety and depends on a trained core of volunteers who make presentations to school children, adults, law enforcement and truck and bus drivers. Please call Allyn Mills, Director of our state's Operation Lifesaver organization at 405-691-0778 for details on how to become a certified Operation Lifesaver presenter or to schedule an OL presentation for your group.
